Jaguar Stud Removal

My friend has a Jaguar. While he was trying to remove the top of the engine, he broke the head of one of the studs. He told me that there is a tool to fix it, but it has a patent on it and he can't find who has it.
Do you know of anyone who has this tool.

Most NAPA stores sell a stud
Most NAPA stores sell a stud remover. The stud fits in a round hole in the remover, and a knurled eccentric driven by a ratchet or breaker bar traps the stud and allows it to screw out. If the stud is broken flush with or below the deck, he will need an EZ-Out. To use an EZ-Out, you must drill a hole in the stud (careful not to damage the outer threads of the hole). Then the EZ-Out is screwed counterclockwise into the drilled hole, gets a bite on the stud from the inside, and screws it out. If the threaded hole in the block does get damaged, it can be repaired by a Heli-coil kit. Any NAPA store can sell you any of these tools. None are cheap.
