  • window doesnt roll up normally on 1993 accord LX

    I have a 1993 honda accord LX(sedan)and i have a weird problem. When i roll up my passenger side front window, it seems to stick a little. When going down, there is no problem. When going up though, it appears to be a little "bumpy". All other windows roll up/down without problems. It seems to me like some spraying some kind of oil on the track might fix this, but i am not sure. Can you let me know if this will require repair, or what kind of oil to us on it.

    My clutch pedal goes to the floor and wont shift gears.
    I dont see any leaks in the hydrualic line or the reservior. could it be that I need to replace the slave cylinder? this seemed to happen when it got cold outside(I live in Wisconsin)any help would be appreciated. F150 1995.....thanks

    Three times now, I have parked my Nissan sentra in the garage over 48 hours and then the engine wont start. It turns over, but wont catch. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? The garage keeps telling me that the engine is flooded. I don't see how that is possible..... Any help would be much appreciated.

    The Maint Reqrd idiot light in my 1999 Honda Accord has just come on and I know that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. What I would like to do is just reset the light. Can someone tell me where the reset switch is?

    94chevy s10 4.3l v6 everytime I turn the key to give the truck power it blows the ecc batt fuse the motor will spin but the truck wont crank. if there is a short where is a good place to start checking?

    I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina Van that's been running hot & won't start when it's hot. I've flushed the radiator, Washed the radiator, new thermostat, radiator cap, air filter, & drive belt for water pump. Once it cools down it starts. We've even replaced the control module that fires the plugs.

    Hi,

    My car seeems to be overheating....Coolant is OK....today with 6 onboard, aircon on, outside temp around 90, and going up mediuk mountain....not too steep....temp gauge maxed out......

    Car is 6 years old...what could the problem be??

    Does anyone know the cause of an intermittent failure of the speedometer on my Neon. It works perfectly about 75% of the time, but it registers zero the other 25%. I took it to the local Dodge dealer and he could find anything wrong with it. He told me to keep driving it until it stopped working completely. Any suggestions...

    I have a 2001 LX Honda Accord LX Sedan, and someone is giving me rims from a 2003 V6 Accord EX Coupe. My rims are currently 4-lug and his are 5-lug, I need to know what size or what type of wheel adapters I need in order to put these new wheels on my car. Any type of help would be appreciated

    I own a 1986 xj6 Jaguar. It was running fine then like 2 minutes later it will only turn over but not start. I have replaced the distrubuter cap and rotar. also the fuel filter and now I am going to replace the start relays. anyone know what it could be???????

    I have a couple problems with my car. My horn doesn't work, windshield washer doesn't work, left turn signal is lit but doesn't flash, and when I open the door light comes after while. I replaced all fuses and I put a washer fluid. I don't know if those problems are related or I have to fix them one by one. Any ideas?

    Just was told that I needed a new water pump and it was going to cost about $700 as this pump is connected to timing chain. Do I need to have them replace the head gasket as well or can I trust it will last longer? Car has 64,000 miles on it now.

    Hi everyone,
    I'm a very new driver and just bought a '95 Dodge Neon with only 32,000 miles on it this summer from an elderly couple. Shortly after I got it, the engine began overheating, at which point I brought it to the dealership, who told me the cooling fans burned out. $800 later, the car seems to run great. Now after about a month, I notice that after I turn off the engine, there's a gurgle-sound, similar to engine coolant boiling (I got rather adept at listening for and heard a lot of boiling coolant this summer before I found out the fans burned out). Is this normal for a car? What could be the problem? The dealership wants me to bring it in for a day, but I'm rather wary of doing that again, since I just blew $800 by blind trust...

    Have a problem with window (as some AHole) tried to break in and pushed down on window while it was partially open. Anyway, window has to be propped closed with paper wedges, BUT I want to fix it permanently, without going to auto body or Honda and paying mucho $$$$$. Suggestions please

    I have had the radiator, water pump, and thermostat replaced and it still overheats in stop and go traffic. I was told that the fan comes on late and I should just run the defroster to force the fan to stay on (not really a fix). I want to sale the van which has 160K on it but people are leary of an overheating van, even a cheap overheating van!

    Has anyone had to replace a Dodge Caravan 3.0 L motor. Mine has 128K miles and is blowing oil through the valve guides and out the front seals (I think). Is it worth buying a rebuilt long block and having someone put it in? Any estimates on costs to do this sort of job? Regards, Gronicle

    I have an 85 ford f-150 6 cylinder. It won't start after it has been running for a while. Actually it does run a little. It sounds like only a couple of cylinders are working,has no power, and is barely alive. It does smell like gas. After it has cooled down it will start & run. I have changed the carburator. I have brought it to two mechanics who have both charged me quite a bit. Neither has solved the problem. Anyone have an idea what needs to be fixed.

    I have a 2001 Chevy Tracker 4-door base model (4 cylinder, 130HP (originally), with a 2.0-Liter DOHC 16-valve L4 with MFI, 4 speed auto) I have already cut off the bottom of the airbox, so now it's loud as all hell (in a good way) and noticeably faster. Some cosmetic mods I've made are blue headlights and bluish-white LED windshield washer lights. I am going to install a K and N flat filter instead of the one that came with it. I'd use a cone filter except I'd have to cut open the top of the air box and there's sensors there. Any other ideas on simple mods like these ones I've done on how to speed it up or make it sound nicer? I've heard about the tornado fuel saver... will that make a difference? I've heard conflicting testimonials about that from people on this board. Thanks!

    Hello ! :)
    I have a 1993 Ford Explorer 4x4 XLT.Automatic.
    The engine runs fine in park or neutral.
    As soon as I put it in any gear, the engine konks
    out with a bang. As if something is locking the engine up or putting such a load on it that it stops abruptly.
    It has 125k miles on it.
    Regular oil changes & tune-ups are performed religiously.
    Any insight to what may be the cause??
    Is there any thing that I may be able to check out myself ? If sensors are the problem,could you please tell me the name & location.

    Answers:

    ****Try removing your EGR valve and cleaning it , sometimes your problem is caused by a dirty or clogged valve

    ****you may want to have your catalatic converter looked at because that was the porblem with my dodge or you idol module control unit.
