SQUEAKY FAN BELT

I have a squeaky fan belt. I put belt dressing on it and it got worse. I read somewhere that brake fluid will remove the squeak because it penetrates and softens the belt. Any recommendations

DO NOT PUT BRAKE FLUID ON IT!!! What is causing it to squeak in the first place is the fact that the belt is slipping. Putting Brake fluid or any other fluid will only cause it to slip more... You need to take it into a shop and have it tightened and/or replaced...

Do not use any kind of oil, Do spray with silicone, also spray all rubber around doors and they wont freeze this winter.
