Re: Car Shakes at high speeds, and brake pedal shakes when i push it to stop

I have a '93 Pontiac Grand Am, about 130,000 miles. When im driving on the highway and reach about 65-70mph my car shakes violently, it shakes alot more when i turn to the right, and when i turn to the left it doesnt shake as much.
Also, when i push the brake pedal the pedal and the car shakes, the faster i go and push the brakes the harder the pedal and car will shake. When im pulling up to a Red light at slow speeds i push the brakes and it feels like there a lump or something on the brake pad and everytime it like goes over it the pedal shakes and the car kinda jerks. Please Help :)

I believe the shaking at

I believe the shaking at higher speeds is caused by a tire on the left side of the car that has had a belt to slip. Find out which one it is and replace it. If then you still have the pulsating pedal when braking, your front brake rotors are warped.

your struts are leaking i had

your struts are leaking i had the same problem all 4 were leaking, so you need new struts and new tires

one of two or both........out

one of two or both........out of balance rims and/or the rotor has a hot spot which warped the rotor
