towncar airbag light flashing

could someone please help me, my 1992 lincoln towncar airbag light keeps flashing, the dealer wants my first born just to put it on the computer, not including the repair.

Mine does too, however the dealer just put tape over the light. I just bought the car so it was all done before I bought it.

However, I went under the hood and found that there are two airbag detectors under the hood. Literally, under the hood. Open the hood fully and look up. I have the wiring broken on one of mine. When the weather gets better (it is snowing and raining and crpping here again) I plan to try and repair the wiring.

Black electrician tape.
